When outside temp is below 10 degrees, i have my a/c on all the time, inside temp set to 20, the air out of vents is hot (feeling above 30 degrees) and during the 30 minutes drive does not change whatever the inside temp i set, either 17 or 25, wrong or normal based on sensors checking the inside temp, to me not as inside temp after 30 minutes ride is already high, quite hot so sensors should pick.

Car ac not blowing cold air when hot outside. If you do not feel any air or if you only feel air coming through the vents on certain settings, the problem may lie with the ac’s blower motor or the blower motor resistor. A broken condenser is another genuine cause for which your car ac may not work properly. Is car ac cooling low?

Many cars are equipped with two radiator fans, while others have one fan that can run at different speeds. Check the ac compressor by allowing the engine to run with the ac on max cool. This happens most often in the winter when the seals and tubes contract.

If your car ac blows cold air when driving at highway speeds but turns warm at stop lights or when driving at slow speeds, you may have a bad radiator fan or radiator fan relay. Sometimes blower motors and/or their resistors will fail and stop pushing both hot and cold air through the vents. Why is my ac running but not cooling in my car?

If you put too much coolant into the system, you can really do some damage. This system works better if you’re driving because the faster your car’s engine turns, the faster the compressor works. High exterior temperature may be causing excessive low side pressure which will keep the compressor clutch from engaging.

So, make sure that you check the compressor as it could be the reason why car ac not blowing cold air after recharge. If your ac is charged but not cold, read this. It never gets super hot, but it's no where near cold enough to cool the passengers in the car.

We recommend having a professional recharge your a/c if it does end up being a coolant issue. I took my car out at 11am and it was fine, but then around 2pm the ac would go from cool to warmer. This door is located in the ventilation system.

If you are feeling air and the blower motor is allowing the fans to produce air at all. Ac not working when hot outside, but system is charged. If it’s too hot inside your car, start the fan when you start to drive.

The most common reason your cars ac is not blowing cold air when it’s hot outside is due to a lack of refrigerant. Open the rear windows for about 10 to. If you’ve read through our explanation of how the system works, then you understand how crucial it is to the process.

A full tank usually lasts for a few years, depending on how often you run the ac. When i take the car out of garage the a/c cools well but as i start driving and if the weather outside is hot, the a/c stops cooling after some time. It’s that particular unit in your car that keeps the refrigerant cool and then flows through the blower by converting the hot air into cool air.

Over time, most car ac systems develop leaks and lose a small amount of refrigerant. If it's 85 or higher, then i fight the ac. If the ac system is blowing cool air (but it is not cold) check to see that the cooling fans on the condenser are running when the ac system is running, look for any restrictions, and check the cabin air filter.

When the a/c does work it cools well. I have a 2002 deville. Most diyers think they can just top off their car ac system with no downside.

Blend air door is the reason for drawing hot air to cold air in your car system. The ac seems to work decently (car gets cold and i'm not sweating) when it's cooler outside. Then, when summer arrives and the tubes and seals expand, it’s hard to find the leak.

Try bleeding the system a bit while compressor is off. That air blows through the ac vents which you breathe inside the car. And it will then not cool again till i park the car in a garage and the engine has cooled down.

Stuck & blend air door. If your air is blowing cool but not cold, the problem could be a clogged filter, cooling fan problem, radiator trouble, or it could simply be that you need to recharge your ac. The most common causes of broken air conditioning are leaks or compressor issues.

I have cold air blowing from the passenger side vents (55 degrees), ambient air blowig out the driver side vents (80 degrees), and hot air blowing out the rear vents.
